Private Residence at Grunewald, Berlin

Located in a historical neighborhood Grunewald, Berlin, this private residence of 3 stories is designed to accommodate for family of 4. The house is organized and designed to fit within a buildable area while keeping the existing beech tree on site intact. The project's architectural vocabulary responds to Grunewald local architecture and incorporates detailing and materials found in German.

Xiamen Heart of Lake

  • Client: Vanke 

"Located in on a 25-acre site on Huxindao Island in Xiamen, a major coastal city, this 2,000,000-square-foot residential development will feature a diverse mix of residential types, including high-rise and mid-rise apartments, townhouses, and single-family villas. A highly-visible club house will serve as a gateway to the complex. The residences are organized around a lushly landscaped central park with intimate courtyards, stone paved plazas, and pedestrian streets which lead to the waterfront public park that wraps the peninsula. The project's architectural vocabulary responds to local climate and incorporates detailing and materials found in both traditional Chinese and Mediterranean architecture." - Robert A.M. Stern Architects, aka. RAMSA. 

This gargantuan residential project has been undergoing 8 different developmental phases for the past decade. Each of which requires different level of involvement from RAMSA. The two phases that I have been involved with are phase 6, a luxurious residential tower and its surrounding landscape design, and phase 8, a series of townhouses made up of multiple housing typologies.

Nanjing: Qinglong Lake

Situated in the natural park of Nanjing, this residential development will feature a mix of single family luxury homes and multi-family housing clusters. The residences are organized and designed to fit within a buildable area specified by the local government. The project's architectural vocabulary responds to local climate and incorporates detailing and materials found in both traditional Chinese and shingle style architecture.
